KORN Take Fans To 'See The Other Side'
November 17, 2005As they get ready to unleash their new album "See You on the Other Side" December 6 via their new global partnership with EMI/Virgin Records, KORN will literally take fans to the other side.
In a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, lucky winners from an MTV Europe contest will board a chartered plane in London and land in New York after seven hours of merriment and bonding with the members of KORN. The winners (representing seven European territories: Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, U.K., Sweden, Norway and Holland) will all be on hand as the band's special guests Tuesday, November 29 when KORN blow the roof off Hammerstein Ballroom with a special pre-album release performance. This special gig will be highlighted by a unique production created specifically for this show that will not be seen at any other KORN concert.
At Hammerstein Ballroom, the band will preview songs from their upcoming seventh studio album and dig into their compelling and controversial body of work.
Meanwhile, look for KORN to make their first-ever performance in a U.S. television studio November 19 on "Saturday Night Live", performing "Freak" and their new single "Twisted Transistor". The track was the most added at Active, Mainstream and Alternative radio across the country, and is now Top 10 at Active and Mainstream Rock, as well as the #2 most-requested song at KROQ in Los Angeles.
